Fun!!!

We had a play date today at a place called Island Playground. April had a BLAST! I had only planned to stay for an hour or so... but I let her play until I saw her rubbing her eyes and yawning. Here are some pictures of our girl.

18 Months

April turned 1 1/2 on the 24th! It doesn't even seem possible!

She's talking up a storm! Especially during growth sprouts. "Mommy. More. Eat. Please." She will repeat numbers and some of the ABC's... Though sometimes instead of repeating the number she says the next one. She says Please and Thank You and several things have been renamed. Rooster is "Roo Whoo" and Nemo is "Momo". Waffle doesn't come out just right either, but I have no idea how to spell it. LOL

Yesterday, we went for her 18 month check up. She didn't get any shots, but she did get a Tinkerbell sticker, a sucker, and lots of compliments. Her stats are as follows. Weight 24 lbs 8 oz and Height 31 1/4 inches.

We have our first playdate with our new mommy group today. I am taking the camera, so I will try to take lots of pictures. :)

Intro to Cotton Candy

We are starting to learn animal sounds. So Far... we just know cow and a special request from our friend Susan.

She is watching herself in the veiw finder of the camera. LOL

15 Month Check Up

We just got back from Dr. Stone's office, where April had her 15 mon. check up. She did pretty well and didn't even cry when they pricked her finger. When she got her vaccines, however... THAT was a different story. She was not very impressed with those.
She is 24 lbs 6oz and 30.5 inches tall. (She got weighed on the "big girl scale" lol. ) She is doing very well and is keeping in the 74% of her age range.

We knew that April would likely have a wide range of musical taste being our daughter... but she, for what ever reason, has taken a pretty big shine to SlipKnot. That being said.. she also loves Sevendust, Paul Simon, Weird Al, Brad Paisley, IKE, Stevie Wonder and Clay Cook. :)

Baby on the Move... Those little legs are fast! At least I had Ti to help. :)

It's a good thing Max loves April as much as he does... He puts up with a lot!!!

As most of you know Jon and I are expecting a new member of the family in May. So, as you can imagine I have been a little under the weather. :)

I am going to try to get some new pictures and video up soon.

Super Star Nieces!

We made a very last minute trip to Snellville, Ga this weekend. While we were there we got to go to one of our niece's soccer game. Maddy played a great game and her sister Missy cheered her hardest for her.

While I was uploading the picture above to the computer, April disappeared for a few minutes and came out holding something as big as she was. We had just started The Little Mermaid... Lots of fun songs! This was in the closet. I couldn't be more proud of this wonderful little girl!
