Some videos..
We knew that April would likely have a wide range of musical taste being our daughter... but she, for what ever reason, has taken a pretty big shine to SlipKnot. That being said.. she also loves Sevendust, Paul Simon, Weird Al, Brad Paisley, IKE, Stevie Wonder and Clay Cook. :)
Baby on the Move... Those little legs are fast! At least I had Ti to help. :)
It's a good thing Max loves April as much as he does... He puts up with a lot!!!

Time to Catch Up
Lots of things have been going on that I have neglected to post. I will try to catch up a little over the next few days.
April is a great helper! Oh and you can hear her say her new favorite word. :)
This was all because I wouldn't let her turn off the computer. She's not always all smiles and giggles.
THAT'S MY GIRL!!!
Busy girl
Our little girl has been quite the busy girl.
- hiding in Ti's crate
- lounging in her walker (I had to lower it to the ground because she was trying to climb onto it. )
- walking EVERYWHERE! I will try to have some video soon.
- getting new teeth (6 so far - 4 on the bottom 2 up top.)

Shark Week!!! YAY!!!!!!
This is a very important message for anyone who has a "shark geek" that is close to them. For the next week they may seem distant and even irritated if you attempt to call or text them from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST. This is largely due to the fact that Discovery Channel is featuring it's annual "Shark Week". Please try to be patient and understanding with your loved ones. They will normally slip out of the trance a few days after Shark Week is over. (Many of them will still stare blankly at the TV for a few days waiting for this knowledge implantation to continue.) While this can be the most frustrating time for those surrounding a geek it is still very important for you to offer as much support as you can.
If they attempt to share their new knowledge it is well advised to smile, nod, and give a occasional "Really" or "You don't say". DO NOT try to distract them. They may recognize your well meaning ploy and become agitated.
All kidding aside. This is a very important week for many ocean lovers and shark enthusiast. There is a plethora of information that I, and many other geeks, have received from watching far to many hours of Discovery Channel. If you feel so inclined, please take a moment to educate your self and your family about what you can do to help save these incredible and magnificent creatures.
Thank you for your time and understanding.

PS - PLEASE do not call during the above times unless it is an absolute emergency. Just kidding. I have voicemail. :)

Our "Dancing Queen"
April is hitting her new Zebra (that we got from a very nice lady on FreeCycle.com) so it makes music. Then dancing and laughing. If you watch close you can also see her do her newest trick... Letting go of things and standing on her own.

Trip to ATL
We went to Atlanta this week for a wedding of a very good friend. We are very excited for him and his new bride!!! We have plenty to share. I will try to get it all on here. LOL
Yes! That is my wonderful husband, JON ROBBINS, pretty in pink! Jon was a groomsman and looked very hansom in his tux. Pink or No Pink!
First Dance? There may not be any music playing, but that has never stopped April for dancing to the soundtrack in her head before. :)
April hung out with GrandMa for a little while and this is how I found her. LOL Not that GrandMa was complaining.
This is just for fun!!! Chad loves his Maw Maw and I can see why!!!

Couple of cute moments.
(Our friend Amanda got April this Webkins pony. She loves this thing! It may only be a matter of time before we have to explain that she can't have a pony in an apartment. )
April loves her puppies and kitties so much, she even tries to share her toys with them. The ball of fluff is Max.

Adventure in Soft Play
We went to the Soft Play with Ms Bailey and her crew today and April had a blast! Today she decided that she was a big girl and wanted to go on adventure. This was her second attempt. (As long as I can see her and she is safe.. I let her explore.)
After that we went to story time only to find out that it had been canceled. Ms Casandra was nice enough to do a short story time for us though. It was all about BUGS!

I should explain now...
Bot of April's doctors recommended getting her ears pierced while she is a baby. I question the doctors and asked many other moms why they had it done. They all said the same thing. They will heal faster and since mom is the one taking care of them, you know that they are being cared for properly. Jon and I discussed it and decide to get them pierced.
Now having said that... Jon was is so right! I think it may have been harder on me than it was on her. I nearly had a panic attack while I was sittitng in the chair with her. LOL and she may have cried a minute, if that! Honestly, I still question getting it done before she was old enough to ask to have it done. (It seemed to be a right of passage in our family.) But most of the time, I'm glad we got it done.
So yes, if you blow up the pictures with her sippy cup, you will indeed see an earring in her perfect little ears.

At the Pool
Edit- If you blow up a couple of these pictures you can see her first two teeth on the bottom. We should have two more any day now. All I have to say is God Bless the makers of Motrin and Hyland's Teething Tablets
These pictures were taken yesterday. I just thought they were cute.

Updates...
I did find some pictures from a couple of days ago that I could share though.
Massey Looking oh so UNIMPRESSED with April chasing her around the room. As you can see in the back ground Max could care less! I really think that he was meant to be a part of our family, much to Massey dismay at times. We told her over and over to leave Jackson alone. He was old and sick and she still insisted on pouncing on him... So as far as we are concerned ... Turn about is fair play. She gets it form a Baby and a Kitten!! I often humor myself by thinking of Jackson snickering at her when she is getting hacked off at Max or April. LOL Or one of he dogs for that matter.
April has a few "big girl" toys! I found a great buy on CraigsList.org! This cute little tent and she loves it!! So do the cats, but that's a story for another day. She looks a little... ummm... silly in this picture. LOL I am not a professional photographer PEOPLE!
Just so you know... you can leave messages and read ones left by other friends and family. You can also left click on the pictures and it will bring up a much bigger version. Just a thought... I had talked to several people who didn't know and were squinting to try to make out pictures. LOL
BIG hugs from The Robbins Zoo!!!

Duck and Cover!
When I was going out to the car last night I noticed a Brad Paisley Cd on the window seal. It was unwrapped and I knew I didn't buy it...
I looked at Jon. He smiled and knew that he was busted. (Not that he was keeping it from me.) I gave him a kiss and wanted to check for a fever, but stopped short of putting my hand on his forehead.
For those that don't know Jon... he was NOT a country music guy by any stretch of the imagination when I met him. He would give me such a hard time about country music!!! Then I noticed that he knew who a few of the artists were. Not long after that I heard him mumbling the words to a song. One day when we got in his car, it radio was on a country station. (I thought it must be a mistake) NOW he has PURCHASED a CD for HIMSELF, NOT for ME!!
I LOVE IT!!!!! but more importantly I LOVE JON!!!!!!

After our walk around the lake, we had a nice picnic and April did her best to eat some grass. ;)

Good News.. Bad News...
April has been a pretty sick little girl! Fever as high as 104.1, sore throat and mad at the world! Today her fever broke and a nasty rash started... yes, for those with children nodding their heads, it was indeed Roseola! Not to worry... She is feeling much better now, but it was a pretty long weekend for all involved.
Now for some very exciting news... When we were at our friends The Martin's house on Thursday, April took her first steps! I didn't take any videos since i wanted Jon to see before anyone else, and then she got sick. I will try to get some videos as soon as I can.

I know, I know... !
Since we last saw you,
Jon was able to attend the final "Championship" round of The Masters. He also got to caddie on Media Day, the following Monday. He was very excited!
As for April and I...
April is crawling and picking up speed everyday. I have taken down the coffee table to give her some extra room. She is in the process of adding to her two cute, yet very sharp, little teeth. She's getting so big! I tried to put a pair of her Nike pants on today and they looked like capris!
I will try to write another post in the next few days.
This video was taken this afternoon.
